Ok, not my knee, but the closest I could find.....

Turns out that a scrape like this is RIDICULOUSLY annoying and painful when you're me. Or when you're my age. Or something...

Moral of the story? Don't slide into second base. Even if the game is close. Even if you're tempted. Especially when it's turf and not dirt.

I was safe, though.
