Red Hook shows outdoor movies on Thursdays in the summer. Cindy and I scouted out the schedule and one movie screamed out to us.....TOP GUN! Yes!! On the calendar it went and our anticipation grew! Finally, it was August 14th, movie night. We got there early, were able to find a good spot, and hit the beer garden. In the beer garden is where we noticed people sporting these sweet-looking glasses. Quickly we made it to the front gate and got our own pair of.... wait for it....... Top Gun aviator glasses! We admired each other, got another beer and then the movie started. Very, very fun. People yelling out the lines, applauding at the cheesy parts, whistling and cat-calling during the volleyball scene, shouting out, "We love you, Goose!" when he sadly passes away.... Definitely big fun. Sadly, Cindy and I both lost our aviators, but man, did we look HOT wearing them! I love you, sissy.
