A year ago at this time, I had watched maybe a couple of hockey games on tv and had gone to one Thunderbirds game. Today I got home a bit later than I had hoped, but I was able to watch about a period and a half of the Detroit Red Wings game. AND I know some of the players' names! I had even checked the tv listings to see what games were on this week, and I was surprised when none were played on Tuesday. If I'm remembering correctly, the VS channel shows hockey on Tuesday nights. Hmm...... I'll have to check into that. Hockey is pretty cool to watch, even better on hi-def, and the best yet when it's live.
Oh my gosh! I just remembered Hockey Night in Canada! I wonder if that starts this weekend?? But, alas, I think the long-standing theme song has been retired. Rats. Go Wings!
